The Feeling Associated with Facial Liposculpture
Think of a rejuvenating experience,
such as the act of taking a shower. The feel of a shower is much like the feel
one can obtain through facial liposculpture. In fact, that feel has led to
introduction of the term facial liposculpture rejuvenation.
Interestingly, that rejuvenation
begins with something called a "wet method." That phrase does not
refer to a showering of water on the body, or even to a bathing of the body.
That phrase refers to a filling of selected fat cells with a fluid.
That fluid contains a prescribed
amount of a local anesthetic. The presence of that anesthetic insures the
patient of freedom from pain and discomfort during the planned liposuction
procedure.
That fluid fills the fat cells that
are the "target" of the health professional, the surgeon who is
"sculpting" a patient's face by performing liposuction. Those fluid
filled cells lie in a subcutaneous layer of skin. Most of the fat that "pads"
so many humans is stored within the cells of that same layer of skin.
Now a surgeon that is
"sculpting" a face does not remove fat from around the eyes, nose and
mouth. The surgical physician draws fat from a fatty region of the human form
and inserts it into a designated location on the patient's visage. In that way,
the surgeon can give a wrinkled face an amazingly smooth and youthful look.
The inserted fat provides the
support that used to come from collagen and elastin. Aging skin loses the ability
to manufacture those support giving proteins.
